Updated N52 engine didn't get put in til midway through 07 on the saloon, not totally sure about the coupe.

I'd double check its actually the 3.0.
Yeah that's what I thought, kinda just assumed the autotrader information was gathered automatically (never sold a car before on there).

I'll enquire. Why can't there be a lovely blue/330i/iDrive/Cream leather! smile

I looked it up, this car is definitely a 2.5 ; see below

Manual even on 3.0l cars in my opinion, unless you're talking 2009 onwards coupes with DCT.

Registration NumberYC56NNY

ModelBMW 325I SE COUPE N52 2.5

VIN (Chassis)WBAWB32080PS97767

First Registration Date01/12/2006

Thanks for checking mate.

That's not the same blue! It's also out of my price range unfortunatly, £8,500 being my max.

The N52 was the launch engine on the E90 series, you mean the N53 which was the revised stratified direct injection engine introduced in 2007. The N53 offers noticeably better fuel economy but considerably more reliability issues than the N52.

Well spotted, I did indeed mean the N53.

Unfortunatly I missed out on the 330i - 100k miles car...

It's getting quite tight due to personal circumstances that I need a car sooner then I thought, so not sure how long I can hold out for a 330i.

I know the below is a 325 and automatic, but what do you guys think?

One thing it doesn't have full service history, only part which puts me off a bit.

This one, I spoke to the guy, and mentioned the bonnet, which if you look at the pictures clearly isn't sitting correctly. His reply was "The bonnet is sitting fine"...should I be worried he thinks this?!

I think the furry dice would put me off the first one wink but not keen on incomplete history!

Could the bonnet on the 330i se, have just been opened and not closed? It would bother me, otherwise, what he said. If it is one owner and I am reading ELMS BMW on the plate, get the VIN number (last 7 digits) and give them a call, they may have maintained it and will tell you what work it has done to it.

The bonnets can sit a bit funny on the 3 series, the gold one just looks like it hasn't clipped down fully on the drivers side.

If it is not that far away from you I would take a look at the one, it looks like it has been kept in good order (apart from the ding on the drivers door).

ETA- I wouldn't touch the black one with fluffy dice.

My E92 bonnet sits a bit similarly to that - I'm always checking if it's actually shut

If you don't go for an M Sport Model, you can really get a lot of car for your money with these. I guess a gold car is always going to be hard to sell on, but it's got a decent spec.
