Has BMW fixed hpfp issue?

My wife and I were forced to sell our beloved 335i after multiple failed hpfp replacements.

We would really like to purchase a new 535i in the future, but are wondering if BMW has sorted out the mess.

I have the n54 (35i), it's been on the same replaced hpfp for four years now. Turbo wastegate are rattling tho so it's in soon for that.
