Yes id say dangerous
And I'd say that's nonsense. If traffic conditions allowed I'd be quite happy to drive my F31 at three figure speeds on a motorway with the suspension in Comfort; ok, I'd prefer it in Sport at those speeds but if it was in the softer setting I wouldn't be driving along with sweaty palms thinking the car was going to bite me at the first opportunity. However, you've obviously had a bad experience with your F30 and hence I suspect we're not likely to have a meeting of minds on this; therefore probably best to agree to differ and leave it at that!

Go over the Prick Willow road in Norfolk in an se as fast as you would like to go and see how you fair and while you are bouncing around like a kid on a castle .....

yep it has the potential to be dangerous, absolutely 100%.

Urban Sports talks a lot of sense, usually at least. But his choice of car does make one wonder about how much he cares about handling.

Hey Smashy, glad you like your car now, just wondering if your OE suspension was off in some way, did you get it checked at BMW?

I have an F31 M Sport and whilst I was thinking of the ACS springs I actually like the M Sport suspension, it's quite a good compromise in comfort and sport handling.

I would LOVE to drive to Prick Willow though!

Hi Knitware thanks, the guy who put the ACS on was an ex master BMW tech who said my SE was ok nothing wrong,it really is night and day ,I hammered it down that Prick Willow coming back and brilliant.Crazy name but a great place for a before and after if your going to Rossiters.
How much difference between your M sport ,I couldnt say probably/maybe not life changing.Good Luck,

hhmmm i may consider putting the ACS springs on my 330d, if i dont decide to just hand it back in the new year, but it angers me slightly that i need to do this on a new car.

Yup just got a 2012 F30 SE 320d as a company smoker: what a disappointment! Wallow exacerbated by the flat seats, runflats rendering the handling dangerous if on a bumpy/greasy roundabout. Not good.

Godders spot on , I was hating getting in my £40k car ......a floating blancmange ,ACS Springs now with non runflats yes 5 star car now, because im not lurching about the flat standard seats are even comfortable and supportive.

Come back and tell us what it feels like when your " keeping up with traffic" on the outside lane of a motorway..

I drove a 330d SE a couple of years ago for a four-day test. Rejected due to the heat it gave me (on Bridgestones) but I thought the suspension was OK. No idea if it had adaptive dampers. The traction control light was a bit busy on damp roads also - a bit of an issue in Lancs
