Thats surely an amazing price.
Why couldnt you have posted that last month and I would have a 6GC now rather than a 3 series! lol

I know, I had a look at a 335d with x drive with performance kit and it was working out at £600

Last deal on the table 640d GC with sport+, piano black trim, rear camera, black interior -
list £72,300
Offer £54,300 (circa 26% disc)

I couldn't get to £555 a month though with a £4.5k deposit. The best was a £5k deposit and £575.

Decided to leave it for the moment. This included trading in my S5 aswell.

Got a decision to make now as even looking at a lesser spec'd A7 sportback black edition this is £670 a month !

May I ask which dealer this is with?!

so was that 26% discount AND 0% finance?
Pretty much the same as me on a Coupe which is at the dealer now (collect 22/12).

Total price with extras - £70,800
With discount - £48,400
£3,500 deposit + £640 / month

Ive been on holiday for a couple of weeks so I still haven't pushed the button on this.

anyone know if the 31st dec cut off for the 0% finance deal is a bluff or had experience of this being extended ?

The dealer didnt know and was non commital but thats to be expected as they would want the car sold now oppossed to 2015.

I dont want to crash on to beat the 31st dec deadline to then realise its extended with the view of shifting pre-lci cars and in turn better deals !

Well I currently have a piece of paper with a bmw select finance quote on it which is regulated, states 0% and is valid till 28th jan 15.

All I need now is for the dealer to agree to take my S5 as a part ex and clear the finance, something had been lost in translation.

I get the feeling the deal might fall at this hurdle, I'll see what tomorrow brings.

Presumably that's 0% on used models? What about pre-reg?

All the cars Ive been offered have been brand new unregistered, this means they qualify for the 3750 deposit contribution from bmw and 0% finance.

Pre reg cars dont qualify for this and you'll revert to no deposit contribution and used car pcp deals of circa 8.9%apr. The car will be discounted due to it being a pre reg but you'll pay interest on the finance.

The 0% deal ends on the 31st dec, its worded cars have to be "ordered" by this date and registered by 31 st march 15.

unsure what they term as "ordered" though. Could this be current stock ?

0% deals may still be had after 31st dec ???

OK.... Looks like the Jan deal will be:

6800 dealer contribution
9000 BMW uk contribution
2.9% APR

It actually works out better than the 0% deal, especially if you can negotiate a 12% dealer discount.

It'll be interesting to see what sort of dealer discount will be had for the last of the pre lci cars.

Based on what I was offered previously I would need circa 9% off list plus the contributions above to equal the 575 per month.

I'm hoping a deal can still be done although the silence from my local dealer after the part ex issue has been deafening.

Right guys, need help!

Last January I bought a brand new 640d M Sport Gran Coupe with some extras and got a 20k discount (54k) and 0% finance based on 4 years. No deposit, 750pm, 16k payment at end.

All good and love the car. Except I have to get rid because I am remortgaging on my house and to get the desired amount I need to lose the liability. So I have to get rid, get the mortgage then buy a new one.

Rang the same dealer, explained situation, said no 0% offer anymore, is working on some figures and will get back to me. Has anyone been offered a similar deal lately ie 20k discount and 0%?

Thanks in advance.

Why does it matter if they're doing 0% if you want to sell it?

So... there have been 3 deals recently:

1. Huge discount + 4.9% APR (my deal)
2. Low discount + 0% APR (last deal)
3. Medium discount + 2.9% APR (current deal)

You can see the trend above... they all pretty much get to the same point I think.

I got £22,600 discount but 4.9%.

Much of it is down to the dealer's quarterly allocation of units that they need to sell. Closer you get to the end of quarter the better the deal assuming that they haven't shifted the allocation.

Be mindful that the facelift is likely to be due to order from March onwards so likely some good deals as we get closer to end Feb.
