Only had time for a quick look, but the cranfield one says sold! Shame as black is my favourite colour.

The last one, also black, has jade grey leather. I test drove a car with black and jade grey and really found it a great combination; and that's coming from someone who doesn't usually like light colours. I think it's pretty rare interior colour too. Photos don't do it justice in my opinion. This one seems to suggest full BMW [dealer] service history; if so I would definitely be onto the dealers to see what sort of history it has and what work was done on it.

**On the second lot, I'd probably say the 330d 2010 plate seems the pick of the bunch; cynically, I am wondering why it is comparably so cheap.***

However, none of these cars are as attractive as the 335i AU car you listed yesterday wink

Once again, if you can stretch to a 335i, do. The extra weight of the convertible, all 200 kilos of it, really blunt the performance and the NA 325i, while perfectly adequate, with its relative lack of torque (compared to the 335i) will struggle to shift it convincingly.

D'oh sorry didn't realize canfeild one was sold, I don't mind light interior and the jade one did catch my eye, however I'm a messy git, they will get ruined with me in no time lol. The 10 plate was actually a 325d auto coupe, I do like that one quite abit, but for the same money I'd prefer a cab and slighty older. What you think of the lemans blue one? Also got sat nav in it but the seats looked abit rough for mileage. And the silver car-a lot one has a bit of wear on the steering wheel which is abit suspect, although priced less than others.

I agree 335 is probaly a better shout,, especially as the AUC one I found is priced the same, similar year and mileage as these ones . just costs will keep adding up on that, petrol, tax, insurance, and its a turbo which is potentially another thing that could go tits up, so would defo need to extend warranty.

I could only get a blurry picture of the lemans blue; it's a nice colour, but needs the sun and to be clean or it looks dull. neighbour has it in his 5 series.

Silver looks worn, really not my favourite exterior colour. didn't get a good feel about the condition of that car, so lean slightly towards the car with jade grey. it's not as light as beige, so maybe easier for messy people.

Yes, I saw the engine capacity of 2993cc and thought it meant 330d, forgot 325 is actually detuned version of same engine; but agree if you want a cab, you should.

Thing to check with 325i's is that when they came out I believe they used a 2.5 litre engine before switching to a detuned 3.0l engine ; presumably there are tax/efficiency/performance changes so, if you are around the 2006/7 era you need to check this out and be clear what you are getting.

Yea apparently the engine I got the 2.0t has issues with high oil consumption, apparently even stated in service manual 1 litre oil in 3000/3500 miles of driving, been asking a few guys in the audi forum and apparently it's due to 'chocolate piston rings', beginning to regret this now, looks the part, gets up the road well, nice gadgets, pants around corners and now I'm hearing horror stories about oil frown fingers crossed some are oil prob free

Oh and to make matters worse there's no dipstick to check oil level it's all displayed on the computer on the screen inside car. Too much trickery from audi imo, even the handbrakes electronic

Lucky escape I think!!!! I'm such a prat just added car to insurance policy and put fresh tax on it frown grrrrr sod it 325i auto or manual it is had enough of fannying around nw

Are any of the 325i convertibles you looked at before, still available?

1 of them is the lemans blur one which I still fancy just abit of a trot as its in Bristol, found this today and spoke to dealer was initially at a Vauxhall garage and now a fiat main dealer, seems decent 2 previous owners 6 services, 3 bmw and 2 private and 1 the fiat dealer has done. Only prob is its auto frown

Would a 330i be better on feul than the 325 auto? Because Ive also found this which is only about 15/20 min drive from me

Sorry 330 is manual, and the first one is in Oldham, but the dealers offered to pay my train fare up there as I'm in London

That drivers seat looks worn out for 55k miles.
Mine is double that and nowhere near as worn.

I test drove this with a mate this weekend - it is absolutely mint and drives like a brand new car ! I was blown away by how much better it feels than my own 335d sport.

I tend to agree, with vee, that seat looked very worn for the miles. Not sure whether auto worse for fuel, but still think manual is better, for driving thrills, particularly with N.A engine. I did a proper calculation on fuel and My 335i is costing me same per mile as my old 325i (E46) averaged out at. So seeing vee's suggestion, is the 335i you liked available still? Bargain, with AUC warranty.

I have seen that black 335i cab before looks tempting but it's got the 4 exhaust pipes at the back which put me off it slighty, leads me to Beleive a boy racer sort has owned it before, looks very clean though. What was the owner like? Age group? The AUC 335i sport sold within days, someone got a real bargain there, unfortunately I don't think 335 is for me, I've gone from 320i to 325, now 325/330 and now 335 lol I'll be on a m3 next lol
