My E93 335i will not see too much use over winter so I plan to connect a Ctek charger to keep the battery up to scratch while it is idle. Is there any reason (I'm thinking specifically about the 'intelligent battery system') why I shouldn't connect the charger at the points under the bonnet?

Thanks for the inputs, I will put in a fly lead to plug the Ctek into. Don't worry it will see some exercise on dry days.
