I don't think the dark colours suite it,doesn't show the body contours and design features, iirc they only do 5 colour choices.... I prefer Ionic Silver with Blue insets....

But I would say that.. Roll on the 1st of march..

I think the complete opposite to you and applaud BMW for launching a new car with concept car looks and technology.
yes

I've been annoyed at BMW for ages for not releasing an Audi R8 rival, however this makes up for it.

Now all I need is for them to produce an M3 Touring to make up for the monstrosity that is the 2 Series AT and all will be forgiven. smile

It's brilliant.

Drive one and fall in love.

It's already setting new standards.

I read some reports saying BMW could be making an 'i9' supercar in 2016, their centenary year.

Had the chance to look over one in detail a few months ago, my grandson loved the gullwing doors (salesman insisted they were swanwing), in the flesh and the right colours it has a definite sense of presence, the interior is a very pleasant place to be.

Dave
The Aston Martins have swan wing doors. Like the term or not, they are gull wing.

I suspect BMW don't like the association of the gull wing door as its a Mercedes term.

In actual fact, they are actually Lamborghini doors, whatever they are called in Italy.

Lamborghini style lift up doors are usually referred to as scissor doors.

I used to love it and then someone mentioned the porshe poo. Now I can't look at it without seeing it.

Its the simplist thing but once someones told you about it the car is destroyed. I even mentioned it it a BMW dealership while picking up a car two weeks ago and they all knew about it.

Saw one in a showroom, yeah it looks good, but I thought the interior was very "corporate BMW", i.e. not particularly special.
