Hi guys just an update of my experiences with my new toy( 08 plate not brand new lol), if some of you remember I was looking for a manual in this car due to fuel consumption but opted for an auto in the end, so now it's over a month old and just over a 1000 miles covered. I can honestly say I'm chuffed to bits with it smile averaging high 25's - mid 26 mpg, and a lot of town driving being done. The obc mile range goes up ever time I'm on a motorway or dual carriageway. well impressed, speed wise it's fine, I don't regret not getting a 330i, and that's coming from someone who's previously had e46 330 and m3. I am however on the hunt for a smart car now lol. Only issue I have with this car is the rubber on the front which joins up to the windscreen, think it's called 'a' pillar tends to drip water when I open door after it's been raining, Im aware this is a common fault though as my mates 320 cab also does it. Is there any quick fix for this? It doesn't leak inside when doors closed but soon as I open it it drips in, so I'm carrying a small towel in the car at the moment which is begining to pee me off.

Cheers

Hi there. I have just taken ownership of exactly sme car, albeit an 07. Agree with your comments, great car all round. I have owned plenty of more powerful cars but find the 325i adequate, smooth and enough overtaking oomph. If we don't get snowed in on Saturday I am away to have a dual exit exhaust fitted. As with all standard e90s' I feel they are far more enjoyable with a (subtle) but slightly more vocal exhaust note
