Anyone able to shed any light (pardon the pun) on my sidelight issue?

Changed headlight bulbs and sidelight bulbs today as one headlight had blown. Put normal bulbs in headlights but LED ones for sidelights. (They were only £1 more so thought why not ehh?) Worked fine initially but then my warning light on the dash came on again. Read online then that the LED ones cause the dash light to come on so thought it's easier to put standard ones back in, but now they don't work. If I put the LEDs back in they work but flash unless I turn the sidelights on. With them in the indicators illuminate like they do if a sidelight fails.

I'm proper confused! confused

You need to get the fault free LED's & you won't have any problems

Thanks, I think I'll just not bother with the LED's now, I guess there's a reason why they were as cheap as ordinary bulbs rolleyes

Still don't understand why the old bulbs wont work now thy're back in?

Fixed. Bought new bulbs and fitted them and the warning has gone.
Repurposed the LED's for interior lights.

Slightly puzzled that the original bulbs wouldn't work in it again unless they buggered on removal?
