So, the brakes on my zed are brilliant at low speed, really bitey and strong. But once you get on the gas a bit it doesn't take long for them to overheat. They start to "grumble" and fade heavily.

Anyone have the same problem and upgraded theirs with any success?

Hard to find anything on the net about this so hoping you guys can help out :-)

I'm hoping a performance pad might cure it, but it the discs need an upgrade too then let me know.

A bit surprised, I haven't had any problems with brakes on my Z4C but maybe my workouts are a bit less vigourous!
I don't know myself but I am sure you would get plenty of useful tips if you posted this question on the Z4 Forum.
Good luck!

How hard & how frequently are you slamming on the anchors?

If they're fading during 'normal' road use then there's something wrong. How long ago was the last brake fluid change/bleed?

If it's just your driving style then get some tuition wink

Top tip, to check brake fluid when you turn the ignition on and it tells you how many miles to go before service, press one of the buttons on the dash (cant remember which) and it will give you a date - which is when the brake fluid is due (every two years)
