If you buy a car with only 1 key is there a way to re-code the existing key (and replacement for the lost key) so that the old lost key will never work again in that car? Car in question is an E63 6 Series.

Your local dealer can lock out previous keys at the same time as selling you a new one.

But main dealer will not be cheap!
There is a guy in East London who has had good reviews (search bmkeys.com) who can cut and programme new keys IF he has access to the car - so if you can get to E6 that may be a cheaper option.
I don't know if he can disable "lost" keys though but you could always ask.
