Decided to get back into a petrol powered vehicle once again. 2 diesels in a row was enough to get it out of my system. Don't get me wrong, the 30D in my F25 X3 was fantastic. Plenty of grunt and didn't sound too bad either. But I miss having some power post the initial shove, and I miss the sound of petrol power full-stop. Also, I wanted to get back down from the elevated driving position and feel more involved.
So I've put a deposit down on a 435i Gran Coupé. Should be ready mid June. The painful wait begins.

F36 435i Gran Coupé
Alpine White w/ Black Dakota Leather
19" 442M Bicolour Orbit Grey
Fine-wood Ash Grain w/ Pearl Chrome
Sport Auto Transmission
Packages: M Sport Plus
Adaptive M Sport Suspension
Enhanced BT w/ USB & Voice
Elec Glass Sunroof
Ext. folding mirrors
Armrest
Ext. storage
Instrument Panel Leather
Seat Heating F/R
Steering wheel heating
Reverse & Surround cameras

edit: forgot to add that I'm waiting for pricing back from BMW for a couple of M Performance Parts to be supplied & fitted.
- Front kidney grills in black
- Rear diffuser in black
- M Performance exhaust
The kidney grills and rear diffuser I 100% want on .. The exhaust will depend on what silly price they come back with.

Sounds very nice, bet you can't wait! smile

Depending on how much you want the exhaust system/how far you want to travel i would speak to Jamie in parts at Dick Lovett Hungerford. They normally do very good prices for m-performance parts.

Sounds great, 4GC next car me I reckon in either 430D or 435i guise. What are the discounts like on these?

Nice to see more people making the move back to petrol..!

Good choice, wonder if the 4GC will get the rumours x40i engine?

Sounds lovely, but I'd change the leather to merino as the dakota stuff isn't very nice.

cheers all ..
The wait is gonna kill me!

M Perf parts - all ordered. I got the front grills (black), rear diffuser (black), and M Perf Exhaust (non carbon tips). All the, fitted and painted (I'm having some colour-coding on the rear apron) for £1800. I thought that was ok to be fair.

Discounts - Yep, mine was good. Got all my options for free basically (c.£8k). But the dealer did owe me.

Leather - I've had the Merino before and it was lovely, you're right (E60 M5). But the other options I wanted meant I couldn't justify the upgrade. It was getting so expensive (above basic price) that I considered flipping into an M3 instead. But I really liked the lines of the 4GC, and when the dealer showed me his offer, the deal was done.

Now I just Google everything about it all the time. I can;'t discuss with the wife and kids anymore as they're so bored of me smile

I hear you and I thought the same when I got my old 335d xdrive, I'd had the merino leather in my previous M3.

It's £1200 or a £1 a day if you keep the car 3 years (man maths!) and for me is the biggest single improvement you can make to the interior of the F3X series cars.

Go on....;)

that sounds horribly familiar. Picked mine up yesterday... driving it is much better than reading about it!

Very nice spec.

Ordered my first F36 yesterday and should hopefully have it early May. Coming from an F32

Diesel powered 435d in silver with black leather.
Piano black inserts with chrome
M Sport Plus Package
Interior Comfort Package
Reversing Camera
Enhanced Bluetooth
Folding and dimming mirrors
And a sunroof

First ever silver car and one with a sunroof. Looking forward to it. Sad to see the white leather of the coupe go mind.

Looks great, refreshing to see the boomerangs in the side painted rather than gloss back.
