I've been weighing up the 335i convertible and was wondering what it's like compared to the coupe? Obviously there's an extra 200kg of weight but with the sports suspension is there any noticeable difference?
Yes.

If you want to just waft about in a cruiser vert then it won't matter - but then if that's the case why bother with the added expense of the 335i....?
All that extra grunt is wasted in the heavy, floppy chassis of the vert ........... IMHO.

O/T but there's some knowledge in here.

Has anyone else suffered boost leaks running a JB4? I'm running map 5 and most of the time under hard acceleration in 2nd or 3rd gear (at highest boost) I'll get a 30FF boost error, and the JB4 will revert back to safe map 4.

I was going to take the car into my local indy to have a look at, but could do with an idea of what I want them to look at! I know you can run vacuum tests on the whole system but it seems like a lot of work.

Well its always nice to have the extra umph in your back pocket biggrin don't you think , I am loving the vert 335 sure a 330 would be adequate but then so would a 325d , have not really had so much chance to drive her as much as I would like to have but but roof down and full chat its really rather nice hehe sure It is a little less stiff than a coupe but what can beat a roof down on a warm sunny day it makes any journey into a mini adventure smile

It's not about giving it beans it's about what road speeds you are driving at.
Yes , but with the folk I have to share the roads with in the morning 50 is about tops you can manage unless you get antisocial ,, and it will often drop to 25-35 on a long long hill it should be a nice fast drive to work all mainly A roads but you know how it is frown
