Hi all,

Hoping for some advice...

My E81 has had new discs, pads and wear sensors all round, but my brake wear warning keeps triggering. Sadly I've not been able to afford BMW parts, but instead bought Pagid parts from Euro Car Parts (I'm skint at the mo, and BMW want £350 ish for some bog standard cast iron discs!!). They were fitted by a mate of mine, a main dealer technician, at a main dealer, so they should have been fitted right!! He's on holiday at the moment so I can't ask him.

Any ideas what could be causing it please?

Its a bit of a PITA because I'm in and out of my car 20 times a day, and as the car has iDrive and Prof Nav fitted, I have to clear the warning from the iDrive every time before I can use it.

Cheers,
Effortless

Just needs a reset. Not sure if you can do that through the iDrive on your car, or whether you need to connect to the OBD. Someone who knows more will be along soon.

Try this? I seem to remember I had a couple of attempts before it worked
