How does M135i compare to 125i / 125d?

I used to commute 50 miles every day and regularly achieved over 40 mpg in the auto. For a long trip I generally put it into manual and 8th gear. 46mpg is my highest over 50 miles.

Another thing I'll mention is the tyres. They are outstanding! The grip is excellent and I've so far lasted 34k miles on the original set.

34k miles - good going. You have used very little lateral load as the front outside shoulder wears in half that mileage of moderate driving.

Still, what a return in mpg terms
