Hi guys,

Hope you can help.

Have tried to register on the AlpinaRegister forum. Great site, but having issues over the Q. Where is Alpina based? Put in the obvious answer, Buchloe, but keeps throwing me out.

Anyone had similar issues? Looking at the cars about at mo. and there are some tasty ones. Would like to get on the forum to gen up on anything that looks good.

Hmmm, oddly open registration question. Have you tried 'germany' as an alternative answer?

Obvious is Buchloe..but no...weird!

I've tried before to register, even got through the daft security question (different question), still waiting some 4 months later for the mod to approve my registration.

Waste of time if you ask me.

Yeah, seems daft. Other forums have them..and no issues.

Ah well, if I go for one, there's always the official BMW Car Club and plenty info on here. Wouldn't stop me if I want the car. Just Q's on particular models and whether they're good price, any issues, etc. Usual things!!

I have just registered, still waiting for it to be activated but said Germany with a capital G and it worked fine for me.

Ha ha!Lol! Smashy. I'm the same often enough..but usually just a trip to the shops!! Need a day to recover!

Hopefully won't be too long confirming......but you never know!! Some decent cars about now and the odd gem too!!

Well guys,

Got an acknowledgement from the AlpinaRegister some time ago, as you can see from the posts...and nothing, no acceptance!! Crazy, and guaranteed nothing will happen!

Very annoying as in position to view a car and someone on the forum may have viewed it already, so be good to know what they think, and I can't access it!!

I know someone previously gave up, but I've had no issues going on other specific forums before. Why this one? We all like to gain as much info on cars, especially in a position to buy or wait for the right one to come up, and while we can access the forum no question can be asked. Doh!

I appreciate the help previously and hope I can find a way in.

All good. Contacted Neil and he came straight back. Fine guy! Apparently, I didn't get the email confirming I was in! No worries. All sorted and can find a goody with their help!
