Leggy E65 730d. Ruinous?

I bought a facelift 2005 750, 115k for £5250 (haggled down from 7k)
Has 20" wheels, Electonic dampers,rear tv, etc
I picked that year, as its facelift but avoids the £490 road tax band.
I wanted a 5 series, but the 7's seemed much better value, more choice and better condition.
They are great cars for the money.
I only use it for motorway commute and it averages 26mpg (or around 440 miles to a tank). Short local runs would severely reduce that figure though.
