E46 - Rear Discs, Pads, & Sensor Cost
Discussion
To my mind it would depend on what their idea of 'OE' means. Being a suspicious old bugger, I would think that means them buying whatever is the cheapest at Euro Car Parts or the like.
A quick look says rear brake discs can be as cheap as £40 a pair, cheap pads £20 and £9 for a brake wear sensor. So £70 max in parts as they won't pay retail price and £135 for what I would think should be 1 hours labour for a garage and would be expensive to my mind.
If however they are fitting discs at £80 a pair and £40 pads and a £10 sensor, then their rate is obviously much cheaper.
You could buy the same £70 worth of parts yourself and either DIY or find a mate and bung him a drink and halve your costs.
