I just bought a 1 series 120D I believe it's the E87 model. How can I tell?

It has Xenon bulbs, I don't know if they are 'adaptive' or not. It has yellow stickers near the headlamps saying 'Caution 24,000v'

I have phoned 2 BMW dealers, and various suggestions ranging from:

1x bulb = £21.88 +vat

Another suggested:
1x bulb = £213 or the controller for it is £378!

Halfords website & store suggest the bulb is £59.99.

Can anyone tell me which bulb I need & where to get it?

If they are adaptive they will swivel when you turn the steering. You might find the light switch needs setting to "auto"

Xenon burners are circa £60.00

£21.88 sounds like a dealer rip of price for a standard halogen bulb.

try entering your reg here..

Suggests I need the 'D1S' variant of HID Xenon bulb at £48.

I dont think I have the adaptive kind. Nothing near the switch that suggests an 'auto' function. Just side lights, dipped and front/rear fogs.
