Learn something new, must just be halogen saloons then that have it then as they're on regular rear suspension.

Just had a quick nosy at halogen equipped Toruings on the trader, it appears some have adjustment and others don't. Strange.

My Halogen lamps also self level when you switch them on. You can see it clearly.

So, with my adjustable lights - I need Osram Nightbreakers in H7?

Will look now!

Update: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H7-OSRAM-NIGHT-BREAKER-U...

Do those look like they'll do the job?

I now need a new coolant expansion tank. Got a low coolant warning when a couple of miles from home. Once I got home, I waited for it to cool down and poured some in. All of it went on the drive.
On further examination and I find this:
Snap! Mine just went in exactly the same place. Alpina specific part however and sadly £197 for a very similar expansion tank weeping

That's 3 of us on the same thread! Is that a known problem?

Lot of people on various N62 themed forums complain of coolant leaks, not sure if they're all tank related mind!

Might just ask you chaps, I'm fairly certain my petrol tank lift pump has started buzzing more than usual recently. At idle its very noticeable outside. You can't hear it with the doors shut or when driving obviously.
At first I wondered if the weather temp drops recently might have caused it. Someone suggested low fuel might cause it so I filled up - no change, still buzzing away.

Any ideas - could it be a sign of the lift pump being about to conk out?

Basically a H7 bulb is a H7 bulb. So all H7 bulbs should fit.

Google seems to suggest removing the Headlamp which seems like hard work.

It's a faff - there's some wiggling to be done and it feels like you're going to scrape the paint off the projecting bits of front bumper/grille surround. Youtube videos are your friend. I think I had to do it to replace a bulb because it's virtually impossible to access them otherwise.

Ouch..! Are you fitting the bill for new block and pistons too!?

Something must of got in there at some point to score a cylinder?
Total will be 5.5k. Got a message saying new block has arrived today from Germany.
Might see if I can get the old block back off them and sell it for scrap. Must be worth a few quid.

I know they only made a few hundred M5 tourings. Does anyone know how many 550 tourings they are in circulation?

So it appears there are more M5 Tourings than the 550.

It's actually possible to find m5 tourings on autotrader/eBay. There are no 550 tourings there.
