service inclusive on 520d
Discussion
Hi All
I have a new 520d m sport touring and have 60 days to decide whether to take out the service inclusive pack at £525 quid. They seemed to have changed this from a few years back as its now more expensive and only covers up to 50k miles.
Do people still think this is a good deal, what does a typical service cost and how long between services do people get? My thoughts are that if I'm looking at 18k service intervals (a guess) then I would only get 2 services? I drive a mix of motorway and town so i imagine the real question is what mileage intervals do you think I will get as if I get 3 services for 525 quid this is probably a good deal....2 services not so good!

Oil, micro filter and vehicle check.
Came to £299
The first was at 20k miles.
The car does town and A road mileage with about 10% motorway.
The service pack would be worth it.

Over a 50k period you'll also probably need front and, maybe, rear brake pads. All in all, £525 seems well worth it if you're keeping the car for the duration and are likely to cover those miles.
The service pack doesn't include consumables such as pads, discs or tyres.I have a Nov 2013 LCI 520d MSport, paid £500 for the 5 year/50k package, as I had an E60 520d before and each service was £250-300, so a no brainer personally.
First service was at 16.5k in Jan 2015. Next service is showing due in 10k, car is currently on 24.5k, so in theory every 16k or every 2 years whichever is sooner, so will depend on your mileage.
Sad;y does not include consumables!
