Does anyone know if you can get BMW to spray the wheels a different colour?

I wanted a grey type colour not the bright silver.
Don't you get orbit grey 19's as part of the M-Sport Plus package?

Is that for a saloon or a Touring? Either way it sounds like you've got yourself a good deal there!
It's a Saloon and it comes with 19" but they are silver as the only option not grey

It's really hard to know how good a deal you've got because first we were getting quoted £100 more a month without servicing but you haggle and haggle and after hours this is where we got to after playing a couple of dealers off against each other.

The main thing that sealed it was the part ex car they are letting us buy and then agreeing to buy back in he interim period until our car comes.

Sorry, must have misunderstood; thought you'd gone with the M-Sport Plus Pack and according to the BMW website that comes with 19" Orbit Grey alloys?

In terms of the deal you've got something you're happy with and that's all that matters - just a case of waiting for the new one to arrive!

Yes we've chosen The m sport plus package. There are a choice of 2 different alloy wheels.

The grey ones are kind of half grey but I didn't like them.

On the deal front i know better deals have been available in the past - namely the lease deal a few weeks ago but at the moment it seems like it's a keen deal?

I'm interested to know if it is a keen deal?

It sounds a pretty keen deal, especially when you factor-in what they're doing with your part-ex; what's the list and discounted price of the car and what's the term/mileage of the agreement? I did the deal on my F31 this time last year and it costs £500/month on a 4-year deal at 15k miles/annum; the car's fairly high spec (list was just over £50k although I got a discount of just under 25%) but I put in a deposit of around £4k to get the monthly payments where I wanted them to be. I thought I got a competitive deal at the time (the dealer was very fair with the part-ex as well) but once it was done I switched-off in terms of what others were saying they'd achieved as there's always someone out there who wants to tell you they've negotiated something better!

Headline lease rates can look very competitive (and often they are when there's a special offer running!) but just bear in mind those figures are usually for standard spec cars and if you load them with extras most of the additional cost feeds straight through to the monthly repayment; it's quite easy to put another £100/month on the basic advertised rate of something like a 335d!

List was £44k - first Time I've bought a new car so negotiating was completely new to us.

We have no deposit (well £459)

So I guess it's not bad. Not as good as a deal as you got but then facelift has only just
come out and this will be a facelift.

Also got free servicing so on the road I think should be nearer to 45...

Not sure what the total credit I've taken is. I've asked for this info.

But yes they are selling me a Passat for £2300 to use until
My car comes with a guaranteed buy back of £2000.

This is a massive plus as a car for 2 months would have cost me more than £300 in hassle alone and then the cost of a hire would be a lot.

Just worked out if I'd have put £4k down then it would be £425 a month so considering less options that's not bad.

The percentage discount is similar to what was being offered this time last year but a good deal considering it's on the facelift model. At one time Broadspeed only offered a discount on the basic car (and hence if you added several thousands pounds worth of options you paid list price for those) but looking at their website that seems to have changed; happy days if you're in the market for a new car and makes some of the Approved Used stuff on the BMW website look rather pricey (especially when you take into account the more attractive finance rates available on a new one).

Have they got any though? My dad contacted them a few years back when they were advertising Focus STs (ST1s, so not with all the bells and whisltes) and a bunch of cheap Chrysler Sebring convertibles. Turned out they couldn't get hold of either of them.

BTW in the end I went for the pre-reg facelift 330d RWD they had in the local dealer. Got them to knock another £2k off it taking it to £35k with about £4.5k of options. I put the spec into the configurator and it came out as £43,750.

BMW are giving these cars away , Jag do not hence The XE is sadly a lot more expensive,

...and even sadder for me neither do Alpina vis a vis their D3
