Looks about right - this one's a bit more expensive than the one you found by a couple of quid

Ah thanks for that, just come on to ask the question which your link has answered! Mine seems to have an additional breather attaching underneath which the one you linked to has but the others on ebay like the one I linked to don't seem to have. Its a different part number to the others too so looks like thats the one I need.

Checking in here having bought a fellow thread contributors family's car.

First impressions are so far so good, looking forward to spending more time in it and bonding with that engine.

Glad you're enjoying the car! My sister put an impressive amount of miles on it during her limited ownership and it never cost her a penny as far as I know.
Think it must be one of the cheapest sports about without silly miles.

A few posts back I said I think my white one maybe the only one in UK......after a lot of Internet digging I found another one, a rather nice one at that.

Now as mine is mainly for a bit of track fun, I would never have 19" wheels, but I think they REALLY suit it.

Funny thing is it's also got the identical options extra and list on the vin decoder.

Cheapstraitsix, there was another one with a sunroof up for sale just over 3 years ago, black leather but not heated and no satnav ...plus another white one ( no sunroof ) when I bought mine

ETA yours is the HG one from Norfolk isn't it?

Indeed it is.

You sound like a man with impressive 325ti knowledge bow

All I'm working off is what I have seen in the last 8 months on the market and images on forums etc.
Other then a 318ti that had a respray, it's taken me all this time to find another white msport.

I wonder if the figures were published anywhere?

Thanks again - the wife even likes driving it, which was unexpected!

They look lovely in white - rather him than me on 19s though, I may well swap to 17s at some point for a bit more waftyness, the roads round here are terribly potholed and can be a bit jarring on occasion (the MV1's look superb though).

Probably just down to the fact I've had mine for a fair few years now.....and I'm always on the lookout for one with better spec than mine....plus I'd like a white one smile
I found a nice spec black one for a friend .... plus another friend says to tell him if I find a well specced red one

Great little cars for the cash - remind me of older model BMs I've had

There are a couple near where I live too, in Surrey. There's actually one on our estate, a silver one. Mine's black.

I also saw a red one the other day in Morisson's - couldn't believe it!

I think I've only ever seen three of them throughout my travels. The most common by car are the 4-cyl petrol models.

I think someone on here has had some cracks develop on their's ( go back through thread )

James' opinion at Redish motorsport opinion is that because of the way the panel is on the Compact they don't suffer the same as saloon/coupe
