Anyone used the window regulators on eBay and the like on these cars?
I take it they are all the same for compact, coupe and 4 doors ?
Thanks

Hey guys proud owner of a 2001 325ti 124k got some small niggles with car but im in the trade so no problem for me. to be fair its in good nick for the age of the car. also a bonus someone has offered me 500 for the wheels as Style 39 E36 M3 DS2 are rare apparently and only paid 600 for the car just involved a 700 mile round trip but so worth it.

Sounds like it could be a good buy once the niggles are sorted, those wheels don't look genuine though!

I think the window regs are unique to the Compact. Aftermarket ones are poor, better off with a good used genuine one.

Great colour AlexMeaney! thumbup

I would have bought one in that colour, but as mine is Imola Red I'll stick with that!

Good luck with the sale though. thumbup

Nice selection of new cars here. Love the orange, the colour that was on the manual for these too!

Mine is currently laid up with a seized caliper. Rattling round in a Passat TDi for the moment.

I have a squealing alternator. Before I buy are there any particularly good ones or ones to avoid?

Probably Bosch or Valeo. More expensive but worth it. Is it just the pulley bearing that squeals? You may be able to just replace that...?

Cheers. I reckon it's quicker to just change the whole lot. Bloody annoying until it warms up a bit.

May as well change the oil filter housing gasket while the alternator is off.

If anyone is after a decent 325ti this one looks a real bargain although it is located in NI. If it was closer to home I think I would be going to buy it and then selling mine!

Facelift imola red with less than 100k, family owned from new, full history with loads of recent maintenance, few nice options including heated memory leather, sat nav, headlight washers so maybe xenons? I'd prefer it on the standard 17" wheels but thats the only way I could fault it personally!

Certainly worth looking at if you are close!

Is it the same car? No heated seats in the 2013 ad etc.....or are the NI ad listing details incorrect?

It's the same photos. No doubt is the same car.
It had more miles back 2013 than now...
