I have bought a used 328i touring, and the dealer at the first dealership did not even know that the glass panel on the estate can be lifted without the whole tail! How can they not know about the most basic of things on their biggest selling product? (3 series)

After previous post and a lot of thinking, I finally bit the bullet and ordered my new car.

I've gone for a 335d touring with
M Sport Plus pack,
adaptive LEDs,
HUD
Pearlescent tanzanite blue
elec, heated seats
few other bits.

Moving up from a 320d touring and looking forward to the extra BHP, 4WD.
Also, decided on the 3-touring vs 4GC as I think I prefer the look and practicality of the touring (and there isn't a 4-touring...)

Arrives Nov - cant wait!

Anyone else got 335d and think of anything I should be aware of?
Who did you order with out of interest?

The super-duper cruise control is awesome for motorway driving.

The standard leather seats are (or were pre-LCI..?) made of rhino-hide. I'm pleased I spec'd the softer/premium leather.

Flinty, I ordered at Cotswold Cheltenham.
Very helpful and also they'll be moving into a massive new premises soon so they'll have much more choice etc.
I think it's going to be one of the biggest dealers in the UK.

Just a quick question.... do the coast2coast guys do leasing deals too and has anyone had a lease quote for a 335d touring from them?

Or PCP deals for that matter!

What sort of figures are we talking....

Thanks

Nunners,

You can get dealers to match and even better the coast to coast price if you haggle hard, I managed just over 10k off a 340i Touring Msport, with extras came to around 45k RRP, with 3k down this gave a monthly PCP figure of around £430 x 48mths with GFV circa 16k. Not sure about C2C re leasing. 335d was around 1600 more for same spec but had a slightly better GFV close to 17k.

Hope that helps.

Wow that is a good deal. Is that standard or have you loaded any options?

Almost standard, just £400 extra for a couple of options. You appear to pay for the options in full over the lease period so, for example, £30/month just for LED lights would crank up the cost pretty quickly.

With no options it'll be one of the lightest 335d and therefore quicker, that's my thinking wink
