Yes looking at a further distance have seen better cars that provide extra, the one above looks a little better.

Only point I'd make, on both in fact, is that they are SEs. I presume M Sports are more, but I prefer seats and suspension significantly.

If you are happy with auto, why 325, isn't the 330i (albeit still SE) still in budget?

That does look a nice car/spec, I was looking at the rear brakes in detail on that second 325i and I thought the 325i would have the same brake set up as the 330i but it seems the rears are smaller on the 325i.

I believe the M sport is out of budget and I agree the sports seats/suspension do feel better and they are a tauter drive in the corners, the SE does ride a fair bit better though.

You could specify the sports seats on the SE (I know this, because our SE has them).

That one looks nice, and has some desirable options (xenons, professional nav and even a sunroof - which on the saloon must be rare as hens teeth).

The xenon headlights smarten the front-end up. Although the sat nav is of course a 10 year old system by now, ours still finds most places - and also gets you iDrive, which allows you to configure a lot of the car preferences (from memory, the climate control system, drive away locking etc.) that perhaps you can't do without iDrive.

Its a bit further away but this looks nice (I love the alloys and couldn't find a set for mine without paying silly money!).

When I drove a SE because I am only little I found myself sliding off the seat in the bends so I appreciate the extra bolster support of the sport seats and because you can adjust the side bolster they can really hold you in tight.

Both cars very nice and agree alloys in the second one are nice. Both cars are about 3 hours drive so think I'm going to have to expand my search criteria! If I want to find a decent one. Didn't realise I could get a 330i for the same price, just may have to travel abit further.

Even if you are not little, like Lee, think you need to drive a M Sport and SE to make the right decision. From what I've always read here, really no penalty in fuel consumption or running costs, to give a downside to 330i. You might as well have the faster car and the last and fastest great N/A straight six engine !

Is this one any good, also on Auto Trader?

I think it was the lowest price, lowest miles below 100k 330i M Sport I saw on A/T. Stood out to me as it has , like mine, the piano black trim; really hate the aluminium which is common and do like the saddle leather.

They've also put on the LCI lights on the rear which is must better. Doesn't have the nav/idrive but if it did it would be the older unit and whilst you can still update the maps, not sure if you can update to get a proper 7 digit postcode so maybe always dated.

Link to company's website. If you are having to travel, I see these have other E9X's , including a touring with M sport, so play clever and drive more than one, that way you get chance to compare. wink

What we've collectively done is to make you increase your budget to £6-7K biggrin Although if it gets you the right car, its no doubt worth paying that bit more?

Haha you know I've only just realised that! But as you said if it get me the right car then should be able to stretch it that bit further!

330i all the way. When I was looking not so long ago I was in a similar position. I found a few nice ones for around 6.5 to 7k in the se guise. I pushed the boat out for same mileage msport but it cost me 8k. Lovely motor sounds the business really smooth and rapid when you need it to be. JUST DO IT

Super cars . I had a 320d touring and traded in for a Nissan navara in late June this year, I hate in So much. Good news is traded it in for another 320d touring m sport so roll on Thursday.

They do every thing we need and find them reliable. Have had quite I few makes of cars over time and find bmw hard to beat as an every day drive. Go for it and hope you find what you are looking for.

That one looks good - definitely worth a look! (Wouldn't suit me as I prefer manual, but has a few good extras especially Xenons).

Glad you are going for an N52 engined one - my Z4 Coupe has the same 3 litre N52 and it is a fantastic powerplant. Need to get one while they are still around!

Good luck!

Seemed less good value than the one I pointed out and a lot more miles, what happened to my suggestion? Did it sell?
Not saying s/6s can't do high miles, but why not try get lower mileage one.
