I'm looking for a BMW specialist in the Sevenoaks area. The BMW dealership in Sevenoaks was shut down and all customers were advised to use the Tunbridge Wells one which is miles away and extremely inconvenient. It's pretty much impossible for me to get a few bits fixed because I cannot afford to take time-off from work due to an extremely busy schedule and deadlines.

Can anyone recommend good garages in the area that are within a 5-10mins drive? I just want to know they're knowledgable about BMWs and use genuine parts - don't care about anything else. The closest specialist to me are ETA but they're still too far away and cannot easily arrange transport to / from their garage.

Has anyone used Euromotors which are a bit closer?

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I recently used BMW Car Services at Hillside Farm, Knockholt. Was just a service and couple of small items so nothing too tricky but was done on time and in line with their quote etc. Plus they offer a courtesy car.

Not used Euromotors so can't comment on them, my other favourite local garage is Weald Motors though they're not specialists but good to deal with.

I live in Sevenoaks and have been using a garage on the North Farm industrial estate in Tunbridge Wells called Alltech Garage for about 10 years. They are a Father and Son team who are very knowlegible with all things BMW being enthusiasts themselves. They are tirelessly honest and dependable and I trust them implicitly to have my best interests at heart. Very reasonable rates and of course use genuine parts unless you request otherwise, treating your car like it were their own.

I have used them help me convert an old E30 325i SE into a very capable B-Road car 7 years ago and maintain it ever since. (Routine Servicing plus install ARBs, Stainless brake lines, uprated pads, uprated suspension, limited slip differential, uprated anti-roll bars plus much more.

They also built from the ground up an E36 M3 Evo track car for me 5 years ago and serviced the one in the background for friends of mine.

They have built an E30 318is track car and E36 M3 Track car themselves. E30 still in their possession.

On top of these projects I have used them to maintain my E46 M3 (now sold), E30 325i Convertible (now sold), my current E46 330D Sport Touring and my Wife's cars over the last 10 years (VW Polo, Peugeot 307cc).

I have no affiliation with this garage other than being a happy customer. They have provided excellent service to me over the years despite the highs and lows of car ownership, always making sure I get back on the road in the shortest possible time.

Call Steve at Alltech for any general automotive servicing and maintenance with some genuine enthusiast knowledge thrown in if you drive a BMW and other German cars.

Ironically they are 100 yards from the BMW main dealer in Tunbridge Wells but will always get my business for as long as the great service continues as it does. Their close proximity to the main agent is obviously very convenient for quickly sourcing your genuine parts too. A 15 minute drive from Sevenoaks but well worth the peace of mind for me. I regularly drop my cars there as they open and jump on at High Brooms to commute into London for work which I find convenient.

I hope this helps some of you living in the Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells areas.

I've a 08 330d and I use Alan Johnson in Riverhead after they were recommended on the Sevenoaks dads network group on Facebook. Chevening motors (another general garage) get recommended too.
