330ci pre-facelift differences?

From what I have read the most significant difference is that manual ones got the 6 speed with the facelift (but someone suggested that is when they also got a DMF).
If you do much motorway driving I would try to find a facelift - I have a pre-facelift 325ti and it pulls 3,000 rpm at 70 in 5th. My nephew has a 325ti facelift and in 6th it is more like 2,500 rpm at 70, so more relaxed and presumably more economical.
Ironically he only does urban commute so rarely uses 6th, I don't commute and only do M-way and A road trips so mine is mostly in 5th! (But I wouldn't swap my Imola Red Sport for his black SE)!
