E39 electrical issue
Discussion
My 2002 530d Touring has started to give some random electrical issues, whereby the dash lights for the indicators don't come on, nor does the clicking to accompany them, and it'll throw the rear suspension light. At the same time it'll refuse to fold the electric mirrors nor respond to the remote central locking.
There are a number of threads of the same issue on various forums, but not one of them has a solution.
The battery is good, the alternator is good, and I've put a brand new ignition switch in.
Does anyone have any advice as to what to address next?

My best suggestion would be to take it to a PROPER indie or main dealer, tell them the issues & ask for a full diagnostic check.
Did the same myself when I had issues with my e39 530 sport & they got to the root of the problem really quickly.
£80 well spent as it saved me over £800 in the long run, as they were happy to diagnose the issue & I got the parts for the repair.
