Loving it thanks! Still learning to drive it smoothly around town with more than 12 mpg - but as soon as the road opens up and you press the little 'm' button on the steering wheel........

Lovely car, agree on the leather too. Do you have any plans warranty wise or are you still too loved up to start thinking about practicalities?smile

Enjoy it.

I'm prepping mine for a trip to Switzerland next month, should eat the miles up and stretch its legs on the autobahn.

Nice.
These cars will always be very special, no matter what new stuff ever comes out.
One of the few cars that I admire and always enjoy seeing on the road.
Enjoy.

Thanks guys!

Always wanted one - loving driving it, loving looking out the window every few minutes and seeing it!

I'm carrying on the Mondial/bmw Warrenty at the moment although it's 175 a month so wondering whether to risk it and build a war chest.

It's on 92k so umming ans aarrring on that one

Get the warranty then drive it like it was built to be driven!

Stunning touring!

We were deprived not to receive such a fine automobile in the states, so after pining for years, I've taken it on myself to make my own.

I have a Black 2 E61 535xi which I picked up for a song with a bad N54 motor. I'm building up the S85 for it now and in a few months will have a near clone of your chariot; Black Sapphire Metallic on Indy Red. Perhaps the only exception will be Piano Black trim.

Love the color combination and may ask for more pics in the future to help get the details correct on my own!

Do love the black and red - feels special every time I get I it. Getting 16 mpg round town which I'm taking as a win!

Remember seeing that for sale, if I remember correctly it was still under BMW warranty. My car is in the background.

What leather do they have? I've always wondered.

It looks dakota from some photos, but then it looks merino/nappa at a different angle

Yes, if you mean the Mondial warranty? about a year ago now.

The leather is Merino indianapolis red.
