Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the following symptoms: car is fine under acceleration, however holding a steady throttle, at almost any speed, the car has developed a minor stutter, doesn't feel like a misfire, and only does it Once the car is warm, say after 20 minutes of driving.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem? And if so, any recommendations?

Hi there owned and maintained an e36 Evo for over eight years and i found this problem not assured but likely to be the TPS throttle position sensor. Best to have the car scanned for fault codes but this little bigger didn't always show up on the reader I used .. Let me know if you need more info part number etc you can attain from real oem website.

Regards

I had an E36 3.0 many years ago and had a similar problem which went away after the spark plugs and coil packs were replaced.

I had similar where it almost felt like a mild misfire and it turned out to be a kinked fuel pipe.

so... 3 answers and 3 things it could be. ha!
