Interesting conversion:

Looks like a very tidy fit under the bonnet. Surprised more of these aren't around!

Much more respect due for a superb engine transplant imo smile

Interesting that the front strut brace is missing, especially with that big engine in the front.

What always puts me off these types of cars is reliability issues and maintenance issues, not to mention handling issues. With engine swaps, putting a bigger engine in an engine bay that's not specifically for that engine, simple maintenance issues can become a mission due to lack of space

Would this be fair to say?

A car aimed at someone who can be more hands on and/or one that can be used mainly as a weekend car....

Wouldn't mind it sitting in my garage.

Wonderful.

Id make the chap an offer as i love the look of it and can appreciate the work gone into it.

But at £25k id rather have a £14k e60 m5 and a £10k e46 m3 plus a holiday.

I think it will ultimately have to be broken for spares

That's a fair point. Finding someone to do miantainance may be an issue.

Handling on this shouldn't be affected as the engine is only a few kg heavier than the S54

Looks absolutely cool.

How is the subframe coping with that much twist ?

What a great car and what an awesome noise it must make too.

Well done sir !
