DTE Pedal Box

Does any body on here have any experience with this product. I am considering buying one for my Alpina B6S as the throttle response is woefull, you press it.... nothing happens.... so you press some more then it wakes up and all hell is let loose!

From what I have heard is all they do is make the throttle non linear. They just amplify the throttle input so 1/4 throttle is more akin to 1/2. I'm not sure they can really change a lot in throttle response of an engine.
