What would you make of this ?
Discussion
Am visiting the US with work and dealing with a lady over there, we were discussing the arrangements and I suggested that I should arrange some other work to make the most of the trip,
"grin, well I can think of a couple of places I can personally use your expertise "
Which made me laugh and curse my Carry On film mentality, Few other comments back and forth, then,
"hahaha well they taught me the same and then i get yelled at by some of them to do the opposite as well. I will say relationships seem to focus on the little stuff but business well it seems to me that those guys are right...big picture is more important than the little stuff....now if you are married stick to the small stuff...always thought that was more important personally"
and then,
"of course i am divorced so what the hell do i know"
Obviously will just keep it professional and would never do anything other than be a little flattered at the (rare) attention, it is probably nothing but I personally wouldnt say stuff like that in case it is misconstrued, just wondering if I am putting 2 and 2 together and making 5 ?

Well if you're not married or in a relationship, get stuck in.
Generally I've found American girls much more straight forward and to the point.
No, married and would never do anything, I find all that a bit distasteful really, unless of course the marriage is not working, then its time to knock it on the head and then go looking, its just not for me, cant do guilt and potentially screwing all our lives up for a legover. They are to the point, in the local bar I go in there, one was coming on a bit strong, I was just out for a laugh and was chatting to all and sundry sat round the bar, I just mentioned I was married, seemed to do the trick.
Need to be careful in these situations, I worked at the Police and was walking across the car park to the main building with a girl from our office, just chatting and nothing at all flirty, didnt fancy her at all, was married, at work and she looked like Gail from Coronation street crossed with Bonnie Langford, she says "You do realise I am engaged and there is nothing on offer" or similar, cant remember the exact phrase, she shows her engagement ring to illustrate, I was taken aback, felt like a right prick, I tried explaining but it always sounds like you are saying they are a dog so shut up.

I've noticed that with a few women in the UK as well- they seem to think every man in the world is automatically going to fancy them even though they might be very average in looks and do nothing for you! They are to the point, in the local bar I go in there, one was coming on a bit strong, I was just out for a laugh and was chatting to all and sundry sat round the bar, I just mentioned I was married, seemed to do the trick.

If you talk to them you are a misogynist for flirting with themIf you don't talk to them you are a misogynist for not wanting to interact with them.
