The brake pad sensor issue came on a few weeks back, got my local specialist to do the brakes, however he said they were fine and had plenty of life in them (said they were almost new)
I reset the light and then reset the service check for the front and rear pads. However the light would continue to come on every now and again, which led me to believe it was a sensor fault.

The garage said they would change the sensors for me next time it was in for a service. However the light is on permanently now and no amount of resetting it works, it stays on.

I googled how to disable it and many people have just cut the sensor off and twisted the wires together, I thought this would work, as they'll be replaced anyway next time it goes in.

I did this today, but still can't get rid of the annoying red light and iDrive warning.

Any way of getting rid of this?
