Do you use - does it have any value to you.

I didn't think it was much use when I had it - maybe if the UK setup had allowed me to sound the horn renotely it would have had a ta least one fun feature to annoy people with.

Concierge service is good. Means you can press a button and they do the googling for you. Handy when driving alone.

Apart from that i cant see a use for it.

Picked up my new car and want to use Email, phone, text and music on the car.

Apparently no Apple product supports the email or calendar anymore.

Blackberry supports Email, but doesnt have a clip in charger that allows use of the external aerial.

How hard is to to make a car that actually works with either the current or previous generation of phone. BMW just seem to make it less compatible with every year.

The only Connected Drive feature I regularly use is sending stuff to the sat nav from Google Maps.

Have used concierge a couple of times but I wouldn't pay the money for it.

This really depends on what system you have and how old the car is.

On an older one with no RTTI etc? Probably not worth it.

Would "connected drive" also enable one to find their car, unlock / lock their car if they had forgotten to do so, pre-heat it etc? Can you also see where your car is on a map?

I downloaded the "MyremoteBMW" app this morning but cannot connect to remote services - presumably I have to pay £140 p.a. to BMW for the privilege?

I don't know if that functionality is more of a novelty than anything else but on the face of it, it sounds quite good especially when coupled with the other things people have mentioned.

RTTI is probably the only part of it worth paying for - and that alone is worth the price. Maybe.

Waste of money IMO. Gimmicky features of little real benefit.
