X5 E70 Winter wheels & tyres

Thinking of going for some new 18" alloys and Conti TS850 from mrwinterwheels.co.uk and would appreciate any feedback on this vendor, the tyres or other options I may not have considered.

Looking to buy early next week.

Not looking for any wisdom regarding winter tyres as I've had them on other cars in the past and I am sold on them, living in t'frozen northern wastelands.

The tyres are excellent. I have the 850s as winter wheels on my E91 and they are fantastic in the rain, mud and cold.

Used these guys this time last year and had no complaints whatsoever.

Bought a set of the Conti TS850s on steelies for my 118d at the time and they arrived very swiftly indeed and were new tyres (within a month or so old of order) and packaged brilliantly.

Daughter bought a set of Borbet wheels and Dunlop winter tyres from them, prompt delivery well packaged and good value for money

Hi, I bought Borbet wheels with Goodyear winter tyres (non run flat) from them last year for my 430d and they delivered quickly and the wheels and tyres were as expected. One other thing that I did go for was TPS on the winter wheels which sync'd with the car without any problems, worth the extra £99 I'd say.
