Replacing privacy glass on 1 series

Can anyone advise on how much it would cost to replace the rear privacy glass on a BMW 1 series? Rear and two side windows. I'm thinking of buying a 1 series that is decently priced, but I'm not keen on the privacy glass and would aim to replace it with clear glass.

Clear glass will look silly, you need to at least match the front screen and door glass, which isn't clear, it's tinted.

That aside, if you go with non-BMW supplied glass, I would still think it will cost you between £500-1000 with supply and fit.

You don't say which 1 Series either, old or newer version, not that it will make much difference if old or new 3dr hatch, maybe difference if old E82 coupe?

As long as they don't break it when removing, you may get a few quid back by selling the factory privacy glass on fleabay etc.?
