F30 320i Superchips remap - any experiences?
Discussion
Hi all,
First post here, despite having been an avid reader of the PH Forums for many years, so apologies if this is in the wrong place.
Anyhow, I have a 320i (F30), which I drive to work everyday, and, as we're all aware, the 320i lacks somewhat in power.
So, I've toyed with the idea of a Superchips remap, which will add up to 81bhp to the N20's stock 181bhp.
First off, has anyone had any experience with the 320i remap, and secondly, will the remap cause me any headaches in the future? I've heard horror stories of N20's going bang with timing chain issues et al.
For some background, my other car is an E85 Z4 Roadster (N52), so NA Six vs Turbocharged Four (definitely miss the sounds of the N52).
Any advice would be much appreciated!
