E93 335i exhaust can flap

Quick question - the exhaust canflap rattles quite a bit on my car. Can I buy just the valve and weld it in or would it require the entire pair of back boxes??

You can't just buy the back boxes I don't believe, although you may be able to buy a secondhand pair and sleeve them into the system.

I binned a pair of standard back boxed a couple of months ago that had a perfectly functioning valve...doh!

So because the valve has failed I'd need a huge part of the system? Wow, thanks BMW!
