I have to say I wasn't all that excited in the beginning but it looks like an impressive package.
Especially the 530d X drive. 0-62 in 5.4 seconds - no doubt a power kit would be out soon for it from BMW taking it to 5.2

I madly want one, as I utterly butterly adore my F10 530D and having it with Xdrive and the latest version of all the kit would be sublime. However, I just can't justify it now children have arrived & wife is no longer working.

Just gunna have to do it the easy way & win that damn lottery...one of these days! wink

Also very tempted but love the F10 still!

People are hating on the new M Performance Package but I find it quiet attractive!

Got 3.5 years left on my F10 lease.

Maybe I'll go with an LCI when the time comes.

Seriously considering a G30. Confused as hell on the choices / options though...

It is too tempting to go overboard on the options, and then face a depreciation disaster.

But would be a lovely daily in the interim smile

In a year or so they are likely to be available at the usual 20-25% discount, so can't see much point in paying a premium to have an early one.

Broadspeed already quoting 9-12% discount on the G30 and presume similar available from dealers?

Has anyone seen a spec sheet yet? Anything standard on the G30 that's is not on the F30?

Same - I just specced a 540i M Sport to the invoice price of the outgoing M5 without really trying. It'll be interesting to see what the 'real' prices are in contrast to list, once they are readily available. I know what I'll be sticking with for now.

Spec for spec it looks about the same price as the outgoing car - mine is a Luxury, so I've based the G30 on the MSport - it's within a few pounds of my P11D value when I tick the same option boxes.

So how many would opt for the F10/11 M5 outgoing v G30 540i?

Cant be asking hard questions like that before 9am.
I really dont think its such a simple question. for 45k you can get an average spec M5 around 2.5/3 years old with around 20k miles on it.

A new 540i FULLY loaded with quite a few of the key packages can be had with discount to 46k. thats brand new which is not to be sniffed at, it makes a huge difference from a tech point of view and general keeping running costs low.

In the real world, having blasts on daily use is there much difference. Of course M5 will feel more special, how much more I cant say.

As hard as it is for me to say it I think I would take the new car. I| have tried many times in the past and got caught up with people saying X car is amazing however once I have compared it to a new car, you just cant argue with the advances in technology.

Anybody know what 'Remote Control Parking' is? It seemed to require the upgraded key.
