Given it's list price would probably be north of £40k, is it a good price?

Difficult to tell what options are actually fitted as the options section is unhelpfully population with duplications as well as standard kit
However a 340i auto from a broker with auto box, M sport plus pack and Professional media plus is 35k
So by that measure 34k for someone elses car which has been driven like it was stolen for 101 miles is expensive

I tend to agree with the last responder.
But maybe you could get another chunk of discount off this used car to increase any gap.
In that case, assuming it has all you want in your colour scheme and there's an advantage to you in having the car now it could end up good.
But overall I would rather go for new. Try brokers like broad speed and coast to coast and then push dealers to beat price.

I would expect a dealer to beat broad speed so you're going to be a few grand up before options. I don't think your new car would be cheaper than this one, but close and unless you don't value having a new car, no prior owner , a bit longer on warranty, I think it's worth going new.
Or use some new quotes to haggle more of the blue one
It's one of two things, a pre reg car with discount, or a second hand but nearly new car.
For the first one, the price should be new car discount plus a bit more and for the second one, how much does it drop when driven out of the showroom.
Either way, bid 'em rotten, be prepared to walk away, there's always another.
Published price is just for starters, a serious customer is not for letting go.

The car is clearly a pre-reg and will be virtually undriven and 'as new'.
And if you look at the odometer pic, you will see that the actual mileage is 9, yes just 9 miles.

Sounds very promising and about what my dad paid for his new 440i GC from Sytners a month ago. Similar scenario - estoril/black, specced up and pre-reg.

Can you give an update on how the test drive went, i am seriously tempted by one of these.I have a 335i at the moment and i am not getting a chance because of work to get a test drive in this new engine. Has anyone else own/test driven these yet ?Lochaber said:

Well I had a look at the Estoril Blue car today and two things struck me - first, it's overprices and second, it was like sitting in a tomb - black everywhere, heavily tinted back windows - even with the sunroof open it was terrible. May go and look at the silver car in the week but I'd prefer professional nav which it doesn't have.Monty Python said:

Yes, my loaner a 320d touring had black interior and privacy glass. A tomb is a great way of describing it. A big no for me. I thought sunroof would mitigate it, but no guess not.
I had pro nav on my 335i E92 and I was much happier with that size screen. Does that mean the silver one has a small screen ??

Business nav has a small 6" screen and lacks the split screen on the pro nav. I've got pro nav on my E92 and find the split very useful. But what was the engine like ? To me sat nav etc are just extras that are not really that important. I live in the highlands so it more what the car drives like that I am interested in.Monty Python said:

Did you actually enquire on the first car? Most dealers will advertise pre-registered cars at 101 miles when they have done only delivery mileage. Gassing Station | BMW General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
