340i msport touring - suspension choices.......
Discussion
Just to resurrect this thread, neither M135 nor M235 have adaptive - the differences when I tried were minor (as the E92 M3 before which did have EDC) but today I was reminded of how glad I am my 340 has adaptive dampers... admittedly necessitated by the 19" runflats, but anyone who spec's the M sport plus pack will have the same 19" RFTs.
You see I live in Gloucestershire and Glos Highways barely manage to fill in a pothole these days, let alone actually resurface anything.
So, I'd say that whether you spec adaptive dampers on your 340 is probably best decided by considering where you are going to use the car. If the roads where you live are predominantly smooth, you'll be fine!
But whether the car has VDC or not may be the difference between selling it easily, or not. Worth considering if you might need to sell someday.
