F32 440i - how important is HK audio?

Agreed. Objectively speaking, the difference between base spec and HK logic 7 is massive.

From my experience those that can't tell the difference between HK and base either don't understand how to use the EQ (which is critical to get the HK system to sound as good as it should) or have no interest in music

HK is essential if you like listening to music, the base system is appalling

ETA - no idea why people are recommending buying one without HK and doing a manual upgrade - cars with HK aren't rare so just wait for the right car that has it
