Chav weapon of choice great one liner aren't all performance BMW's just that?
I always drive mine around the council estates that's where i get the most respect.

Hahahahah. Them council estates are full of bloody BMW M3, ya wright. From what I have seen from the footage, the car looks Ok. But for some reason it looks to big to be a true sports car. That might be why they have given the new M3 400Bhp.

Not many cars can match the M3 for all round usability and fantastic sounding engines with the added bonus of solid build quality.
I'm not sure what some of you guys expect from what is basically a very hot family saloon, lets get things into perspective here its never going to look as good as limited production Ferrari is it?
I agree with a previous poster if they give it the right wheels it should look awesome, imo of course.

trolling doesn't touch a nerve. It just irritates like dogshit on your shoe. Now stop this or we'll get Uncle Ted to tell you to stop it.

I'm sure its a nice thing, but it looks bloody boring.
Prefer the old model or alternatively the RS4.
BM's have gone all boring and francise dealers are not hitting targets. No wonder

Yawn....bored with all the M3 and BMW slating. Look forward to the write ups in the car mags when it wipes the floor with the competition. Normal service will be resumed. As usual everyone will want one.

Can someone please tell me how you recognise an RS4 from a 1.9TDI, 2.0TDI, 1.8T, 2.4T, 2.8T, 3.0T, S-Line thingy-me-bob....beats me....or rather it doesn't hehe

Lay off the M6. Don't knock what you don't understand! bow

Not sure why, i just can't get excited by new uber saloons anymore, they're 5 a penny.

Exactly my thoughts. Where are the times that only supercars like the Countach had 400 bhp?

They've undoubtedly done an excellent engineering job, but have to keep it safe with three-letter electronical aids.
What's the point?

OOOPs for a minute dropped off.
Yes you're right about the 4 circles all look the same, well built as always nice big shoes nice trim, good prices.

I suppose there is really only the M series Beemers that look reasonable. The rest of the range look hurl !!
Basically why sales are so low unless you want a cheapo 3 series with 2" alloys ooops there standard arn't they? laugh

Anyway foR the price of the Genamic rep car on steroids you can get a good second hand 996TT.... bow bow

It does work better than the bland regular car.
The trouble is, nothing this side of a Ssanyoung works worse. Even Kia's and Hyundays look less bland nowadays.

It's probably going to be a hoot and BMW is covering all the bases from being lightweight-ish (relative to others) to having a halo model that will sell 318's.

I guess what it comes down to, is would you want to be seen in one.
For me, that's a 'no'.

Weird hearing a v8 rumble from an M3 though. Roll on delivery next summer

I'm guessing with 425bhp it's going to be 911TT quick?

What a macho post. Unlike AMGs, you can switch off the electronics in an M car. Or are you a hairy chested TVR type?

If you knew anything at all about these cars, particulalry if you had driven one, you would understand that the electronic aids are not needed to keep them safe. The car handles beautifully without them. Like any car with 400 or 500 bhp though, if you provoke it, it will bite you.
