Only thing to watch out for when placing golf clubs in the boot is that if you have the 'Storage Compartment Pack' you get a little net on the left hand side of the boot that doesn't appear to be removable. It's OK if you put the heads at that end, but the other way round might cause damage to the net.

I have managed to squeeze 2 impressive bits of kit.

Kit One: weeks shopping from Sainsburys - shop for 4 adults plus alcohol (although if buying loo roll that would need to go on front passenger seat).

Kit Two: Clay shoot, so shotgun in slip and cartridge case, skeet vest etc.

Its amazing what you can squeeze in the back of a z4.

Yes I managed a full shop for 4 people (£130, no alcohol) including bum roll and kitchen roll, all in the boot of the MC. Shopping is relatively easy as the bags are small and you can fit them around the mobility kit.

I get a full size golf tour bag in the boot without removing the woods/driver. I also fit in an electric golf trolley and battery/shoe bag/clickatube range balls! I can't get all that in a ford focus without taking the back seat down! wink

I can get a bike in removing wheels, seat and bars but it's a pain. I now just use a bike rack and remove the wheels.

So I can now get a weekends mountain biking gear including wheels and a big soft bag.

It's quite practical for a roadster, I think it takes 240 litres.

Graeme,

what bike rack do you use and is it easy to fit/remove? I am thinking of getting one for the very same reason as you.

Hi,

I got this one after trying 10 or so on the car... I know it doesn't look like it'll fit but it's perfect with 6 secure straps. I can fit it in under a minutes, no problem. One tip is to by some clear vinyle strips, I put them on the car where the pads touch, save any marks being left by the pads or indeed stones getting caught and scratching away. Hope that helps.

I don't see why not... if fit on my girlfriends hatchback.

I went into a sign maker (you know the place which does company names, logos etc on the side of vans) and asked them for a sheet of clear vinyl... cost £3 or £4, well worth it and you can't notice it from more than a couple of feet away.
