AOK said: Sorry mate as a principle i don't do 'requests' as it will just lead to dozens a day... did a few last year and my inbox was full of number plates.
There's a phone number you can call though, although I personally don't know what it is apart from that it is very expensive! Perfectly understandable! I imagine you would be overwhelmed with requests if you were to do such a thing! Cheers anyway. You don;t get if you don;t ask and all that

The Nur said: Sorry for the random question, but would it be possible for you to find out the spec of a car sold in the mid 90's? I'm trying to find out some information on a car I have bought so any help would be greatly appreciated If it is the build sheet you're after you can get that yourself, Click here, log on, enter the last 7 of your VIN and select 'options'.

I don't suppose you can find anything out about this car? I'm thinking it may well be the oldest 5 series in the UK. PHM 75L - 1973

Just realised someone replied to my post Sharknose said: Skipraider said: Your E39 Sport looks exceptional - what's the spec? [quote] Those wheels suit the car a lot better than you'd think, I really like them! Cheers. It's just a 530i Sport, manual in Topaz Blue. It doesn't have them wheels on any more, now has these on:

Skipraider your beemer looks lovely. Out of interest what polisher are you using and which product are you using with it? You've got a lovely finish with it.

Cheers, Style 37s are nice though!
The top picture is when my mate was doing his business on it with his polisher. I can't remember which one it is. He was using the Poorboys products, followed by some black hole glaze by hand, and some collinite 476 wax.
I would give it the once over with the black hole glaze, but did one side a month or so ago and it left 'swirls' where I'd been, so had to stop. I think i need some new cloths!

You're right that they're a pain in the arse to correct, I've ran over mine with Menz IP and only removed about 75% of the swirls However, on the plus side, I've found that my car is actually quite hard to swirl up, I'm washing it at the moment with ONR in a hote car park (essentially a wash mitt and bucket of soapy water) and it's fine

Vermillion Red, Oyster leather, Professional IDrive, Visibility Pack, BMW Individual anthracite maple inserts, BMW Performance Exhaust, BMW Performance high gloss kidney grilles... Great colour. cheers. When the car was bought originally, the chap paid £1500 for the colour as it was an individual one back then...now a 'standard' option... I've since had the wheels repainted after a nasty coming together with a vicious kerb...next is to find someone who can supercharge an N53 engine...
