Hi all,
Picked up my new 3 series yesterday so thought I would share here. Its a Montego Blue 320d SE convertible with a manual gearbox. Im thrilled with it so far and very impressed with the engine.
It's done 24000 miles, the garage gave a good PX price on my last car.
Here are some pictures.

I'd like the wheels re-furbed but I'm not sure where to take them!
Lepsons.I believe the above company use Lepsons. He will come to you, fit some loner wheels, and come back with your spangly new ones. Job jobbed.

My other option is http://www.rimfurbish.co.uk/ as per the guy who had his E39 M5 wheels done on Detailing World. I'd show pics but they are down.

No idea tbh. Insurance had the car collected within about 90 minutes and when I asked about salvage rights they didn't sound keen. I'm told the laws have changed and I don't automatically have the right to retain possession. Especially where contamination is an issue. I am guessing the shell would need to be dipped to remove all traces of carbon etc? I envisage a bit of a battle with the insurance as it is. I know it's only a car but it represents 3 years of my life and 100's of hours of work, research, phone calls etc. It is one of the best known e21's out there and was magazine featured 5 times including July's issue of Total BMW Magazine.
This gives a clue as to how much it meant to me.

Gutting mate, but insist on getting her back if you still want her. I read an article about someone who's Escort went the same way, they got her going again despite bad fire damage to engine bay and interior. This gives a clue as to how much it meant to me.

Hello, Ive just been on a whirlwind over the last 4 weeks, my E60 M5 had done 80000 miles and was getting lots of faults over the last few months and spent more time in the dealers than with me, mostly covered by warrenty fortunately. I took the plunge and part exchanged it, along with a hefty BMW financial services commitment for the next 3 years, for a pre registered ex demo F10 M5. I cant afford it but what the hell, im 40 next month and getting fatter and balder by the day it seems. None of my friends/family or workmates are petrolheads or have any appreciation for whats now sitting on my drive. Hope you dont mind me showing it here where it can be appreciated.
