The new 5 series and 3 series both have similar style wheels, but these are 1M and E9x M3 winter wheels...

Well after much deliberating over BMW performance rear lights, LCi conversion etc etc, I decide upon a £14 sheet of Lamin X to rid my lights of their white bits! After all no one like white bits!!

Pretty pleased with the result.

I was thinking that too, most of the more common offerings on that era car didn't float my boat much at all, those are tasty.

Looks good. Does the light appear pinkish? Was considering ambering mine.

Lovely E21Mark. What wheels are they? Look like from an E9?

I think it's partly my age but also that I used to lust after these cars as a kid. I also like the fact that you simply don't see another one as you're driving along. Well rarely anyway! I found this one has been living less than 2 miles from my home. I sold the previous owner a steering wheel for an e21 and he came to collect it in the e12. A few minutes later and I'm buying it! smile

Cromadora (possibly e9 - I'm not sure to be honest) It's a really clean example though and I quite like the poverty spec. I'm almost tempted to put it back on the steel rims?

My second car was an E12, on Alpina 14" alloys. Though steels with correct centres would look nice too. I have a set of 14" BBS cross spokes on one of my E28's and they look fine on there. Did they do the 5 stud bottle tops back then? I think I have a set of those as well.

I won these for £65 yesterday. I'm thinking of darker spokes & diamond cut lip?

That's the ones I was on about....You mean like a Nagaro centre with a polished lip...? That would look cool.

Nice E12. It'll look fantastic on those wheels you have. A dark silver/light grey will contrast nicely with the body colour.
