It doesn't sound too much like a V8 I must say, it's rather quiet, but I do like the way it drives, ideal for my long commutes down to South of France with the family.

Hardest thing will be what to replace it with - ideally an F10 M5 if/when pennies allow!
I agree when I had it in my X5 I would have liked it a little more vocal but I did enjoy revving it at idle and I always thought the noise had a slight American flavour to it which I really liked as the V8 in my cerbera was just an angry sound, the V8 in my M3 was about as far away from a V8 you can get in sound sadly.

Great looking car! fantastic colour and nice to see one that hasn't been ruined by having a private registration plate added! .... I agree with Bertie - Silver wheels will look so much nicer!

The wheels are the only bit that needs sorting....They aren't in great nick so getting them refurbed soon..They will not be black....but probably not silver either as not a fan of silver...Gunmetal or anthracire maybe...OIr I may well just change to a new style...M6 type wheel maybe and that will be silver..Undecided at the moment.

OH and I do have a private plate for her that I have had one my cars for 14 years..Sorry about that.

Cheers!

Before getting mine I had only ever seen one 4 door in the flesh before and that was white as well. To be fair I think all the standard M3 colours look great on the car and wouldn't have been disappointed with any of them.

me too its the second one iv had the first I had of my friend id wanted it since I was young and after all the years of badgering he gave it to me as it was just sat in his garage I ran it for nearly 2 years until it caught fire on the way home from work and some guy dragged me out. I said id never have another one as id always want it to be the one I had and it would never be. so last year as I was browsing the classifieds for something to do I spotted this one its identical to my old one right down to the same motorolla car phone installed from new!! what are the chances I knew I had to have it so I did! the only difference is this one is auto but its so dam close to my old one and I doubt id have found another one that is dosnt matter even my mate who had the other one was astonished and how its identical to it is to the one we had before he said id have still had it if it hadn't combusted itself! the only thing I need to investigate is theres a horrible exhauste rattle sorry if I went on abit have you got one ??

No it's not a company car, I run my own business and take a travel allowance, so it was a personal purchase which gets used for work.
